The basic idea is to prevent major "skirt liftage" when it's windy. On windy days I constantly see skirts around town in a battle between gravity and wind.

Solutions:

1. Make-shift option for any flowy skirt. Use a little clip to temporarily tighten the width of the skirt around knee height.

2. Option from manufacturer. Build in a small velcro strap that could be used when the wind kicks up. The strap could have a convenient hideaway slit so it hangs on the inside of the skirt, out of view.

I think this would be popular in "Windy Wellington" The wind here can be brutal! It makes me glad my hair is so short. This could be marketed as a "skirt accessory" - the new trend! Or, if built-in, it's a versatile skirt that can change styles to match your mood (or adapt to adverse weather conditions).
